Huron County Public Health is the local public health agency for Huron County. Our public health professionals work to promote health and prevent disease, for a safer and healthier community.
To achieve and sustain healthy people and healthy communities throughout Huron County by providing public health services which promote health and prevent disease.
Working in collaboration with our partnering organizations and communities, Huron County will become leaders and innovators in achieving an optimal health status for its citizens. In this quest, Huron County Public Health will apply best practices and demonstrate operational excellence while addressing chronic disease prevention, environmental safety, behavioral education, and preparedness.
Huron County Board of Health
The governing body for Huron County Public Health is the Huron County Board of Health. The board members are appointed by elected officials of Huron County cities, villages & townships.

All regular sessions are held monthly on the Thursday following the first Monday of the month at 1:00 pm at Huron County Public Health, Conference Room, which is located at 28 Executive Drive, Norwalk, OH 44857 - Environmental Division and Community Programs Entrance.
