Nourishing Huron County Community Garden
The Huron County CHC Coalition is pleased to share the Nourishing Huron County Community Garden, located at Huron County Public Health, 28 Executive Drive in Norwalk. For 2021, the community garden contains summer squash, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers. All produce is being harvested throughout the summer and donated on a weekly basis to the Norwalk Area Food Bank to help Huron County residents "make the healthy choice the easy choice".
A special thank you to the Town & Country Garden Club in Norwalk who donated the produce for this year's garden and whose volunteers are weeding and watering the garden throughout the growing season. Without them, the Nourishing Huron County Community Garden would not be possible!
