HURON COUNTY COVID-19 VACCINATION PROGRAM
Huron County Public Health (HCPH) is working to distribute safe, effective COVID-19 vaccines county-wide to those who choose to be vaccinated.
This page is intended to provide residents with information about the vaccine, our distribution plan, and details about when, where, and how COVID-19 vaccines will be available locally.
HURON COUNTY VACCINE UPDATES
NEW: As of April 22, 2021 HCPH is excited to introduce the availability of an online self-scheduling tool for individuals interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine at HCPH. This tool allows for a convenient and flexible scheduling process and can be found HERE .
Eligibility Updates: Effective on March 29, 2021, Ohioans aged 16+* became eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
*NOTICE: Pfizer is the only vaccine currently authorized for those 16 and 17 years of age; Moderna and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) are currently only authorized for ages 18 and up. Brand availability may vary by provider by week.
As of May 5, 2021, HCPH is currently only offering the Moderna vaccine, approved for individuals aged 18+, however please note that brand availability may vary each week. HCPH will provide updated information on our brand availability when applicable.
