Environmental Programs - Tattoo/Body Piercing Parlors

The Ohio Revised Code requires all tattoo – body piercing operations be licensed and inspected at least annually by the local health district. Our staff inspects such facilities to ensure that safe, sanitary methods are being utilized to reduce the risks of complications and health issues.

Prior to opening a facility, owners/operators are required to complete an application and submit plans for review. The licensing period runs January 1 – December 31.
