Environmental Programs - Swimming Pools/Bathing Areas

The goal of the swimming pool and spa program is to prevent water borne disease and accidents at public facilities. A license is required for any public swimming pool or spa. The licensing period runs June 1 – May 31.

The health district also registers and inspects bathing areas aka beaches in accordance with the HCGHD Public Bathing Place/Area Regulation. The registration period runs June 1 – May 31.
